Built with solid ingredients:
A traditional soap base of stearic acid, myristic acid and coconut acid whips into a dense, stable lather instead of the airy foam that collapses mid-shave. Glycerin holds water at the skin's surface for slip. Bisabolol (Symrelief® 100), the calming compound found in chamomile, sits alongside ginger root extract, vitamin E and sodium ascorbyl phosphate.

Razor irritation is a friction problem. A thick cushion keeps the blade from pressing directly into skin, and hydrated, softened stubble takes less pressure to cut, which means fewer passes over the same spot. The lather stays opaque and stays put, so you can see your line and keep coverage from the first stroke to the last.

Wet your face with warm water and let stubble soften for about 30 seconds. Squeeze a nickel-sized amount into your palm or onto a wet shave brush, then work it into the beard area until it builds a thick, opaque lather. Shave with the grain using light pressure, rinsing the blade often. Re-lather any area you go over twice. Rinse with cool water and follow with Heath Post Shave Repair. Use every time you shave. Avoid contact with eyes.
